Inspired by the old world literary tales of large (sometimes unexpected) dinner gatherings; our Beorn Collection furnishes strong yet elegant dining tables that are as appropriate for large dining parties as they are small family breakfasts.

Custom lengths and "knock-down" design make for configurable seating as well as mobility when desired in a commercial scale banquet setting. Strength of hardwood construction combined with timeless aesthetics make the Beorn Collection the perfect choice for anyone seeking an heirloom quality trestle style dining table.

Handmade in Texas using only USA sourced hardwood lumber.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION

The Children's Beorn Trestle Table and Benches are constructed using solid Black Walnut for the table/bench tops, trestles and stretchers. The tusk tenons are constructed of solid Purple Heart. 6' is our standard length. However, custom lengths can be ordered. Our Children's Beorn Trestle Table tops do not include breadboard ends. However, they can be ordered with optional permanent 3" breadboard ends.

The functionally beautiful "knock-down" design allows an extremely heavy piece of furniture to be deconstructed and moved with relative ease. A combination of mortise and tenon, tusk tenons and lap joinery is utilized to construct the table base. Once the tusk tenons are seated and the top stretcher is lowered into place, we have an impressively strong table base with tight tolerances. The top can then be lowered down over the dowels and set in place.

The Children's Beorn Trestle Table is 72" in length and 28" in width. It seats up to 10 children when seated on the long sides. Each table measures 21" from the ground level to the top of the 1-⅝" thick tabletop.

The Children's Beorn Trestle Benches are 72" in length and 10" in width. They measure 12-½" from the ground level to the top of the 1-⅝" thick benchtop.

Due to the scope / size of our Beorn Trestle Tables and the ever changing price of hardwood lumber, we prefer to quote each table on an individual basis. Customization options such as length, width and lumber species impact the final price as well. Project completion / lead times may also impact the final price in the event of a rushed completion date.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

If your delivery address is within our delivery radius, we prefer to personally deliver and assemble your furniture. We can deliver to and around most major cities in the State of Texas.

However, if your delivery address is outside our in-house delivery radius, we will gladly package and ship your item(s).
